Bethel Reports collection, 1951-2014

Abstract

The Bethel Reports collection contains reports, studies, and communications from Bethel College and Seminary regarding varying aspects of the school, departments, and administration. Some date to the former Snelling Avenue campus, but the majority are from the Arden Hills campus. The main college departments featured in this collection are Education, Social Work, and Nursing. The Seminary also has a large portion of the collection.

Scope and Contents The Bethel Scrapbooks were created mostly by Bethel students about their time at Bethel, particularly featuring music tours. Scope and Contents The Bethel Theological Seminary collection dates from 1871 to 2023 and spans 40 boxes of 57.5 cubic feet. The Dean's Office records series contains primarily student letters of application. This series dates between 1889 to 1919. Scope and Contents The Norris Magnuson papers date between 1944 and 1999 and span nine cubic feet in six boxes.The Bethel series contains documents from Magnuson's time as a student at Bethel. Theological Seminary at Morgan Park lectures

Scope and Contents

This collection consists of 33 volumes of lectures given at the Theological Seminary at Morgan Park, Illinois, before the Seminary merged with Bethel Academy. These represent nine courses made up of fourteen lectures. Multiple copies of the same lecture owned by different people are included. There is also a cover of a missing book, annotated with biblical references.
