Sheepskin Bibles, 1967
Scope and Contents
The Lidbom papers date between 1966 and 1990 and cover one box.
The documents in the file include correspondence, church bulletins, and autobiographical account by Harold, and information about the Ethiopian Bible.
Two Ethiopian Bibles in the Amharic language are included in the collection, both with wooden covers and handwritten on sheepskin. The larger-sized book was given to Bethel by the Lidboms and likely contains Psalms and Song of Solomon.
