The First Baptist Church of Red Wing, Minnesota collection spans three boxes over 3.5 cubic feet. It dates between 1892 and 2007.
The History folder contains material recording the history of the church, including newspaper clippings, historic building surveys, a dedication program from 1957, a centennial booklet from 1992, and photocopies of photographs and ledgers.
The Original Transfer Letters were removed from a display board labeled with the folder title. They are handwritten in Swedish.
The Annual Reports date to 1977-1978, and 1994-2007, excepting 2000-2001.
The Sunday School series is made up of five ledgers, recording attendance and financial contributions, dating between 1896 to 1938.
The Baptist Young People's Union series contains four ledgers of meeting minutes, one of which is oversize. They date between 1895 to 1945. The Membership cards are held in a box, and contain cards from the Baptist Young People's Union of America.
The Mission Circle series is made up of four ledgers dating between 1911 and 1940. This was a women's group, and the ledgers hold mostly meeting minutes, with some financial information.
The Secretary Report ledger was recorded by Roy Johnson, the secretary of the church. It dates to 1906, and holds data on attendance and financial collections.
The Membership ledger dates between 1892 to 1927. It records church members' baptisms, deaths, dismissals, and other information.
There is a ceramic vase with the names of the Philathea class of 1942.
A plaque reads "In memory of our son Wilbur Stone May 22, 1923 - July 12, 1945 Mr. & Mrs. Walter Stone". It was ona sign in front of the building, and was saved when the church name was changed in 1994.
The Guest book lists church visitors' names, but is undated.
The Meeting Minutes series holds four ledgers dating between 1895 to 1997, with a large gap between the 1930s and 1980s.
There are seven ledgers in the Finance series. They date between 1892 to 1933.
The Organization papers are original and date to 1892, when the church was organized.
The Membership folder holds some ledger pages recording members from the 1990s and 2000s.There is also a list of charter members.
The Service members photographs is a framed series of photographs of military men during the 1940s.

Historical note
First Swedish Baptist Church of Red Wing was organized in 1892 at the American Baptist Church, where the church met until they acquired property at Fifth and Potter Streets. A church was built in 1903, partially out of materials from the American Baptist Church building. A new building was dedicated in 1957 at 550 Maple Street. The name of the church was changed to Cornerstone Community Church in 1994. In 2005, the church purchased 420 West Third Street. In 2024, the church was absorbed into Eagle Brook Church.
