Stanley D. Anderson papers, 1964-1988
Scope and Contents
The collection spans seven large binders of materials collected and kept by Stan Anderson. The first three binders deal with the general education curriculum. They contain information from the Academic Policies Committee, the Curriculum Revision Committee, comparative college data, and evaluations. Binders four and five contain Faculty Meeting Minutes between 1968 and 1988. The Long-Range Planning Committee was a committee to discuss what Bethel College was institutionally, how it should strive to be a "Christian Learning Community", and plans to accomplish that goal. The binder contains reports and meeting minutes from the committee. The Bethel Data Book contains sections for a faculty profile, a student profile, and academic programs. Information provided include faculty education, faculty ages, tenure status, enrollment statistics, BGC membership of students, testing scores, class sizes, cost analyses, and departmental profiles.
