The Bethel Women's Association collection dates between 1937 and 1966. It covers 0.5 cubic feet in one box.
The Minutes folder holds loose minutes primarily from the 1930s. Thirteen other ledgers and notebooks dating until 1961 contain meeting minutes, as well as lists of members, reports on events, and other interfiled information.
The Finance folder contains receipts and scraps of paper listing expenses for the group. Several treasurer's notebooks date from 1939 to 1966.
One undated notebook lists members' names.
The Events folder contains mostly programs for events, such as Commencement Tea, Big and Little Sis Banquets, and a letter to Effie Nelson from 1952.

Historical Note
The Bethel Women's Association was organized in 1937 as a girls club. Effie Nelson served as the faculty advisor. The Association appears to have disbanded in 1970, shortly after Nelson's retirement in 1966.
