The Eugene Glader papers span eight boxes and date between 1951 and 2021.

The Education folder holds a reunion program from the Cambridge High School Class of 1951, and a term paper by Glader titled "Flexible Scheduling in Physical Education." The Cambridge High School Yearbook from 1949 is from Glader's sophmore year. The Offical Handbooks from the Minnesota State High School League date to 1960 and 1961. "An Evaluation of the Men's Physical Education Department of Bethel College" was a colloquium paper from 1960 for the University of Minnesota. The Notes and Abstracts from Alley's Class in "Professional Preparation in P.E." dates to Spring, 1968. A term paper from 1968 is titled "Economics, Leisure and Recreation" for Philosophies and Trends in Recreation, University of Iowa. The University of Iowa binder folder holds the contents of a corresponding binder, and a second binder follows. The Notes from Adaptive and Rehabilitation class dates to 1965 from the University of Iowa. A 1970 commencement program from the University of Iowa is from Glader's Ph.D. ceremony. The Curriculum Outlines, Course Lists binder dates to the 1960s from Minnesota, Oregon, Iowa, and Bethel. The Instructional Guide for the Teaching of Physical Education dates to 1976 and is from the Roseville Area Schools.

The United States Army Training Center Field Artillery book is from "B" Battery 1st Battalion 2nd Regiment, Fort Chaffee, Arkansas. It dates to 1957 during Glader's time in the military.

The Pre-R.N. book dates to 1954 and is from Midway and Mounds Park nursing programs.

The International Olympic Academy series contains correspondence, essays and lectures from 1971, the International Olympic Committee Joint Commission Regular Meeting of the International Olympic Committee Executive Board from 1968 in Mexico, and the meeting of the IOC Executive Board with the NOCs in Mexico from 1968. The IOA Alumni Newsletters date to 1979 and 1980. Four issues of Olympic Review date to 1972, 1989, 1990, and 1999 and two issues of Olympian from 1980.

The Research series contains primarily articles used by Glader for his research on athletics and amateurism. Some articles are on the AAAU Federation Feud from the 1970s, and others from the American Association for Health, Physical Education and Recreation.

The Correspondence series contains letters between various people and on different athletic subjects. One folder is specific to Glader's dissertation.

The Articles on Amateurism folder contains articles written by Glader.

The series Amateurism and Athletics book contains documentation of Glader's work on his book, permissions, marketing, translations to Japanese, bibliographies, and drafts. It also includes a draft of Glader's dissertation, the early version of his book.

The Bethel series deals with Glader's time as a coach and professor at Bethel College. The General folder holds publications such as the Standard, the Annual Report from 1971, the Bethel Focus, and Undergirding the Future. Several class reunion memory books are included from Homecomings. The Royals Sports books were the official organ of the Athletic Department and cover athletic schedules and records. The Physical Education folder holds proficiency standards and departmental history. The Sports folders hold Glader's papers specific to physical education units and sports. The Physical Education Department binder contains proficiency test standards for different units, as does the following binder. The Defense of Skills Program folder contains information defending the curriculum of the Physical Education program at Bethel from 1975-1978. Class documentation from specific courses are included in corresponding folders. The Elder Hostel class holds presentation materials for for the Elder Hostel event at Bethel. The UMAIE folders are from study abroad classes on the History of the Olympics.

The Travel folder contains handwritten notes from Glader's trip to Africa.

The State Track Meet folder dates to 1990 and holds timed photographs from Accutrack.

The Christianity folder contains handwritten Bible verses and "The Prayer of Faith" by Lauren Jacobson. The Foundations of Christian Higher Education was from the Christian College Consortium and dates to 1979. "A Christian Concern For the Older Person: Six Sessions Focusing on the Needs of the Older Person, Instuctor Guide" was sponsored by Social Ministries Committee of Home Missions Board of the Baptist General Conference. The "Syllabus on Factual Apologetics" was written by Joseph Free and published by Wheaton College in 1950. The Scotch recording tape holds Christian music.

The Photograph Slides of Glader's trip to Greece date to 1972, and were shown at the Elder Hostel Class at Bethel. The second slide tray holds slides of Bethel's campus and Bethel athletics. The Class Trip to Europe slides date to 1978 to 1980, picturing Germany and Athens. The the final slide try holds slides of Glader's Trip to Africa. The Lecture on Amateurism slides show are presentation slides of notes. The black slide box holds images of Bethel sports.

The Certificates and Diplomas folder contains certificates from Bethel's Sigma Delta Psi, the Phi Epsilon Kappa Fraternity, the International Olympic Academy, the Minnesota Office of Tourism, the Cook County Tennis Association, nomination of Cascade Lodge: The History of a North Shore Landmark for the Northeastern Minnesota Book Award, his Bachelor's diploma from Wheaton College, his Master's diploma from the University of Minnesota, and his Doctorate from the University of Iowa.

The artifacts in this collection includes a letterman's jacket from Bethel, as well as a letter "B" and music letter. The picture of the football team is in a frame from the Royal Stadium Club Business Class and shows an advertisement of Cascade Lodge. One plaque is for Honorary Referee at the 1987 MIAC Track and Field, and the other is the plaque of Glader from Bethel's former sport's hall of fame. The paddle reads "Bethel Royals" and gives an honorary membership to the Lettermen's Club.

The Sonja Langlie acquisition was donated later than the rest of the collection. The Organization and Administration of H.P.E. and Recreation binder and Introduction to H.P.E. and Recreation binder hold developmental materials for the physical education program at Bethel. The Recreation Articles binder contains class notes and readings on the subject. The Concepts Lab binder holds materials from a class at Bethel on concepts of physical activity. The History of P.E. binder contains handwritten notes and teaching materials. The P.E. Department Faculty Handbook binder holds job descriptions, intercollegiate materials, intramurals, skills programs, and policies. The Olympics binder contains information about ancient and modern olympic games. The Values folder holds material involving values in sports. The Live Longer and More Abundantly folder contains an article by the same title written by Glader. The Grants folder holds applications for research projects. The Recruitment and Admissions folder holds information for recruitment at Bethel and comparative schools. The Weights folder contains documentation on weight training. The Track and Field folders contain training material for Bethel's track and field program, as does the following binder. The Training Workout Log Book and the following notebook hold material on cross country. The Physical Education folders include material about the P.E. program at Bethel, education materials from classes, and workout routines. The Issues in Sports folder holds mostly articles kept by Glader about various issues or controversies, such as drugs, contact sports, and dancing. The Class folder mostly holds transparencies of class notes used in Glader's courses. One folder is dedicated to a specific course, Introduction to Physical Education. The Philosophy Papers folder contains student papers regarding various philosophical issues in sports. The Christians in P.E. folder holds articles about sports on Sundays and documentation about the National Christian Physical Education Association. The Sports Camp at Bethel folder describes tentative plans for a camp in 1975. The "Nutrition for Athletes" book was a Handbook for Coaches and was heavily annotated by Glader.

Boxes 9 and 10 consist of the Sonja Langlie acquisition donated in July 2024. The Bethel Athletic History folder holds the college athletic handbook, documents on the history of the physical education department, and pamphlets on the athletic programs. The "by-line: Bethel" and "Royal Rouser" were two publications, the latter specific to Bethel athletics. The fitness center plans deals with the plans to build the field house and south campus development. The Facility Concerns folder holds information about athletic facilites during the 1970s. The Athletic Budgets date to the 1960s and 1970s. The Title IX folder contains information on sex bias and and the Title IX Study Committee from 1978 and 1979. The Faculty Growth, Retainment, and Recruitment Committee folder holds information from the committee on which Glader served, dating to 1968 and 1969.The Correspondence folder holds primarily recruitment letters to athletes. The NAIA materials include programs and events from National Association for Intercollegiate Athletics championships. The Cross Country folders and binder and Track and Field folders and binder hold primarily seasonal record books. The Track and Cross Country Photos album and Photographs folder pictures Bethel athletics, mostly from the 1970s. The Dissertation materials include a questionnaire for U.S. Olympic Team Members about amateurism. The Macalester College Consulting folder holds materials about this St. Paul, Minnesota school and a report about athletics done by Glader in 1977. The Amateur Athletic Union folder holds mostly correspondence, dating to the 1960s. The Teaching materials are primarily overhead projection copies on the subject of the Olympics. This is also the content of the Elder Hostel folder when he presented at this Bethel event. Glader gave several presentations at for various events, including the Eastern District Association of the American Association for Health, Physical Education and Recreation, a Skidmore symposium, a convention in Wyoming, and at the University of Iowa. Glader published several articles contained in this series. The MIAC meet folder contains meet results from historic competitions. The Seminars Internation Olympics binder contains information from the January study abroad term in Europe. The Olympic Academy binder is the same, dating to 1979. Glader taught and coached at Echo High School during the 1960s, and the corresponding folders contain reunion information as well as football records. The Echo history book was published for the 125th anniversary of the town. There are also several yearbooks from this time period. The Isanti News folder contains newspapers by the same name, dating to the 1970s and celebrating Isanti history.
