Scope and Contents

From the Collection:

This collection covers most of the years Roy Dalton worked at Bethel as a member of the History faculty, from the 1950s to the 1980s. Much of the material deals with administrative evaluations and reports about different areas of the college. The bulletins are short newsletters from different administrative offices that Dalton kept for his records.

The History Department series contains statistics about their majors, evaluations of the department, departmental goals, faculty members, and internal correspondence.

The Library series deals with internal evaluations, committee minutes, and information about the library collections and titles.

The NCATE report folder includes the rough draft of the report submitted to the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education.

The Jesuits' Estates Question manuscript folder contains the final draft of Dalton's book, which was published in 1968 by the University of Toronto Press.

There are thirteen records in the record album, all of religious music. Most are in English, but some are in Swedish. One record is from the Bethel Male Quartet.
